JOWD is software for lawyers that downloads and exports documents from your JustOnWeb case files. You sign in via itsme or your eID card, select your case: JOWD automatically exports the authorised documents and their folder structure, directly to your computer. No more endless manual work.

100% legal tool — limited to authorised documents
JOWD only exports documents for which FPS Justice has granted print authorisation (and therefore to export) as PDF. If a document is not printable on JustOnWeb (print icon missing or greyed out), it will not be downloaded.
The tool bypasses no restrictions or security measures imposed by FPS Justice. It only automates what you could do manually, click by click, in your browser — provided you have valid JustOnWeb access.
No more downloading documents one by one: JOWD automatically exports the authorised documents of your JustOnWeb case files, including case files of several thousand documents in a single pass.
After the analysis, which always covers the whole case file, export all of it or tick only the folders and documents you need. Documents already in your destination folder are not downloaded again.
JOWD recreates the JustOnWeb folder structure in the folder of your choice — on your computer, an external drive, a USB stick, OneDrive or Dropbox — and adds an index: one click opens the document you are looking for. To update it, re-run the export to the same destination folder.
Documents are saved directly to your computer and do not pass through JOWD's servers. The licence check and, when you use them, certain support features exchange technical data — never the exported PDF files.
More than 60,000 documents exported by JOWD users over the last 30 days. The Windows installer is digitally signed in the name of FEYNX SRL. On macOS, the application, compatible with Intel and Apple Silicon, is signed by the publisher and notarized by Apple.
French, Dutch, English, German: the application follows your computer's language. Try it free for 14 days, with no bank card and no commitment. And support is provided by the practising lawyer who develops JOWD.
Three steps after your itsme or eID login: JOWD analyses the case file, you choose what to export, then JOWD downloads the documents.
A browser opens JustOnWeb. Sign in with your usual itsme account or your eID card and card reader. The tool waits until you are identified before starting.

JOWD analyses the court case file to identify the available documents. Once the analysis is complete, it asks you for the destination folder: that is where the folder structure is rebuilt and the index is placed.
Exporting a court case file does not always happen in ideal conditions: a session that expires, a computer that gets closed, a document that refuses to load. JOWD was designed and improved to deal with those situations.
Every file is checked before it is saved: JOWD verifies that it really is a PDF. A file that does not pass that check is not counted as retrieved.
Once the export is finished, the files on your computer are compared with the case file index. If a discrepancy appears — a missing document, a duplicate, a file that is not in the expected folder — the export is not announced as complete: the discrepancy is named, in the closing summary and in the index placed with your files.
And if JOWD could not establish a complete index of the case file, it says so rather than letting you assume the export was verified.
An export that knows what it is missing is worth more than one that does not.
A JustOnWeb session does not last indefinitely. If yours expires during the export, JOWD notices and asks you to sign in again in the window already open. The export then continues with the remaining documents, or after a re-run on the same folder.
A meeting, a laptop closed, a network drop. Re-run the export and choose the same destination folder: documents already saved are recognised there and not downloaded again.
A document that does not load does not interrupt the export. JOWD retries a limited number of times, moves on to the next ones, and names the document concerned in the closing summary.
The tool strictly complies with the framework set by FPS Justice. Here are the essential conditions.
You must have an active account on JustOnWeb (FPS Justice) and be a party or representative in the case.
Only documents for which FPS Justice has granted print authorisation can be exported. Unauthorised documents are automatically skipped.
The tool exploits no security flaws, bypasses no FPS Justice protection and accesses nothing beyond your normal access rights.
You use your own identity (itsme or eID card). The tool does not store or transmit your credentials. Authentication remains under your control.
Your court case files are sensitive. The tool was designed to expose no document.
We do not store, index or process any court documents. Technical data may be exchanged for the licence check and, when you use them, for certain support features. The exported PDF files are never transmitted.
Your licence is checked online over a secure connection, to confirm that it is valid and active on your computer. This check does not concern the content of your case files.
This software is designed to work with the JustOnWeb platform as it exists on 15 April 2026. Since the platform is managed by a third party, technical or functional changes may affect all or part of the software's operation. No guarantee of immediate, continuous or long-term compatibility is provided in the event of platform changes. Where applicable, updates may be provided on a best-effort basis.
Requires active JustOnWeb access (FPS Justice) and an itsme account or an eID card with reader. Export is limited to documents approved for printing.
